I am using the Events plugin and have recently installed the Tickets plugin, which i am trying to connect to PayPal. However, when i enter our PayPal business account credentials, it redirects me to Liquid Web, LLC. Although it says the connection is successful, however i am encountering errors with the WebHooks which are as follow:
    – Error – Something went wrong! : Unexpected response received. – Failed to refresh the PayPal access token.
    – Error – Something went wrong! : Unexpected response received. – Failed to refresh PayPal user info.
    – Unexpected PayPal response when creating webhook
    – Failed to refresh PayPal webhooks.

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out.

There might be an issue with the REST API on your website, which might trigger this behavior. Which might be coming from a security plugin or server feature.

To troubleshoot this, I suggest disabling all the plugins except for Event Tickets, then disconnect your PayPal account and reconnect it again. A pop-up notification should show once it’s properly set up.

I strongly suggest working on this on a staging server first, as this might affect your main site and if there are any complications while doing it – it’s better to catch them there.

Please keep us posted on how it goes.
