unable to connect

Hi,
I just setup PiwigoMedia with my WordPress 4.0 and after selecting the site, I get an error :
Erreur pendant la lecture de https://ww.xxxx.org/piwigo. Veuillez vérifier votre configuration de PiwiMedia et recommencez.
It says that an error as occurend during the read of the url. Check teh configuration.
On the configuration screen, i set the path to the gallery like https://www.xxxxx.org/piwigo
CURL is installed.
Php 5.2.17
