    Hey,
i am having an issue in configuring SMTP. i dont know what is going on but when i select Gmail as mailer and filled in client secret and client ID, as i am saving settings to proceed further, all the details are washed off and default php mailer is selected.

    Hi,

I’ve just tested this on a fresh WordPress installation and it works OK (the Gmail mailer and the Client ID and secret are saved).

Does this happen also when you select some other mailer (not Gmail) and try to save the settings?

Could you please check your server error logs or contact your hosting support and ask them to check it for you. Maybe there are some errors that could point to the problem.

The other thing that comes to mind, is that something is preventing the plugin settings to be saved. Maybe some caching plugin? Could you please share the list of active plugins you are using?

    Take care!
