    Hi,

I have been trying desperately to get my free webspace working with an installation of Wrodpress 2.0 and a registered domain name, but I can’t get it to work. ANY help at all would be very much appreciated. (My email is [email protected] if you want to email me direct).

I purchased the domain name https://www.graffiti-living.net from GoDaddy.com with the intention of using it for my personal website but have been having problems getting it configured.

I want to use it with my free webspace at my ISP Firefly Internet (the url for that site is https://www.jdg.fireflyinternet.co.uk).

On this site, I want to run a copy of the WordPress 2.0 blog software.

I’m completely new to webhosting and don’t know what to do. I’ve tried pointing graffiti-living.net at jdg.fireflyinternet.co.uk and also masking the domain, but it does not behave how I want it to.

Basically I want it to show “graffiti-living.net/pagename1”, “graffiti-living.net/pagename2” etc for every page that is generated.

Instead it shows “jdg.fireflyinternet.co.uk/whateverpagename” or just shows “graffiti-living.net” without a page name no matter what page I am on.

I don’t know if this is a problem with GoDaddy, Firefly, or WordPress, or what I need to do to rectify the situation. Please help.

    Sincerely,

    James Garside
