• I want to add some code to the body tag of my WordPress site, but when I opened my editor and pasted the code and then click on the Save button, it is showing me an error of “Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.”

I didn’t install any plugin, and I remember when I pasted a code two months back it didn’t show me this error or any other kind of error.

That’s built into WordPress, it means it caught a fatal error after saving and reverted the change.

If you really want to make the change, you’ll need to do it by editing the file manually with FTP or SFTP client and a plain text editor. But, I’m 98% sure it will still trigger a fatal error that you’ll need to revert by manually removing the code.
