Unable to comment

  • For some reason we were having problems where people could not add comments to some posts. It was random. Some would have 3 replies and some nine replies and then you could simply not reply any longer. It would load the reply box and then it would disappear. After disabling this plug it all worked again.

    I don’t know if it is a conflict with another plugin I am using or what.
    Other plugins I am using include:
    Buddydrive
    BuddyPress Activity Comment Notifier
    BuddyPress Activity Plus
    Buddypress Social
    BuddyPress Toolbar
    GEO my WP
    rtMedia for WordPress, BuddyPress and bbPress
    WP Smush.it

    H @josiahw,

    can you please make a test by elimination enable all plugins and let BuddyPress Wall all times enabled, then try to disable plugins one by one,
    like this you can find the conflicted plugin and mybe i can fix the problem.

    Im not sure, but i think problem come from BuddyPress Activity Plus or rtMedia.

    I tried. Still having the issue. I even disabled yours and now I can comment on everybody except on the activity list but not in groups. Must be an issue with buddypress. I disabled everything but bbpress and buddypress.

    I can’t comment either. It’s an issue with my theme. I’m using the Buddy theme from themeforest. Wish there was a fix for this.
