    Keep getting this error

    “ERROR – Failed to create custom template. Please set up recursive Read-Write permissions for ”

    There is nothing after word “for” in the the error.

    Its trying to create director under the [path mentionded on the plugin settings page]

    I know my directory permissions are correct because file and image uploading in the wordpress Uploads folder is already working fine.

    Please help me to solve this problem.

    Well, it seems pretty obvious that the plugin has no write permission on the folder “/wp-content/uploads/amazon-associates-link-builder/”

    Check again. ??

    Checked again permissions are fine. In the error mentioned above, you see the last word “…for”, It should mention some path after this word.

    So, have you set a path in the field “Downloads Folder” in the AALB settings? Perhaps the field is empty, which would explain the empty string in the error message.

    It needs to be an absolute path, starting from the root directory of your account with your web hoster. In my case its something like
    /home/[myusername]/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/amazon-associates-link-builder/

    That’s the only option left.

    The field is not empty and I didn’t change the default value.
