Unable to change wordpress password

    Hello,

    Since my site is receiving multiple failed login attempts, I’d like to change my password to stay safe and make sure hackers don’t guess my password. I like to do this for all my sites regularly to stay safe.

    But I’ve just noticed that the option to change my password isn’t available anymore. I’m not sure if it’s because of this plugin, but this is the only security plugin I use so I’m guessing it’s because of AIOWPS.

    On my wordpress profile page, I don’t see the option to change my password. The only field that appears is the “Generate Password” button. I can’t add a new password anymore.

    Why is this happening? Is this a security feature of AIOWPS? I’ve tried looking in the plugin options to see if the change password field was maybe changed to a different page but I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

    Please let me know if this plugin changes the add new password field and where to find it.

    Hi, if you disable this plugin can you see the option to change your password?

    I disabled the plugin and I still can’t see the option to change my password. I guess this plugin isn’t the one causing this problem?

    That is correct, something else is causing this issue. Are you login in as an administrator? Or are you login in with lower privileges?

    This is not related to this plugin at all. Clean and fresh WordPress installation is the same. You need to click “generate password”, then the field with generated password that appears is editable. Lower you’ll find “allow weak password” checkbox that you’ll need to use if the one you type is considered weak. Although I cant find much reason not to go with the generated password.
