Unable to change URL

I have recently purchased https://www.michaelglover.co.uk but after scouring the internet for help I cannot work out how to apply this URL to my wordpress site. My domain is hosted through ipage and when I install wordpress from there I must have something along the lines of https://michaelglover.co.uk/mydirectoryname. All I want is for my domain of https://www.michaelglover.co.uk to apply to my wordpress account, how do I do this?
