Unable to Change Post Title

  • I can’t change the title of my posts after the first save. I have researched this fairly extensively to no avail. I am using

    Theme Atahualpa with 5 Widgets
    You are using WordPress 2.9.2.

    The post title in my sql database is as it should be. My WordPress blog is at https://www.schase.com. Note that the entry “Ultra” should be, and shows up in my database as, Ultrasound Chicanery.

    WTF?

    I forgot to mention that I am using the “default” Permalink settings. A glance at the source code page of blog leads me to believe that that is part of the problem.

    Belay my last. I had to dig into the “Atahualpa” settings and change the entries in the “Body Title Single Pages” and “Body Title Multi Post Pages” fields to my desired title.

    The edited post title is showing correctly in your Recent Posts list and as the title text when you hover over the post title, sooo I did a bit of searching on the theme’s FAQ pages and found this:

    I haven’t loaded the theme, but it seems that with this theme you have to change the title in two places. Hope this helps.
