.htaccess file was not there in root folder so i have uploaded it with below code:

Contact Godaddy and make sure that the microsoft url rewrite module is installed.https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/extensions/url-rewrite-module/using-the-url-rewrite-module

Dear @pxforti,

Talked with godaddy and they informed me that I am using Plesk Panel and plesk panel doesn’t have microsoft url rewrite module.

You cannot have “pretty” permalinks on that plan. If you can, I’d suggest you change plans to Linux based hosting. Your server’s IP will change, so your domain DNS records will need to be updated accordingly. If your domain registration is with GD, they should take care of this for you. Depending on TTL values, it’ll take a good while for the change to propagate through the ‘net. 24 hours is not unusual.
