Unable to change domain name

    Hi, I’m trying to use this plugin instead of the “Search and replace” which seems a lot more dangerous but so far I always get the error

    “An error occured while changing instances of your domain name. Rolling back to the previous state also failed. Please try importing the database backup stored under the backup folder manually.”

    I don’t know where I’m supposed to create the backup folder in the first place.

    Sorry for the late reply.

    You are not supposed to create the backup folder, it already exists. The backup directory is inside the plugin directory which is /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-move/.

    The error message could be more specific and helpful, will look into that.
