• Hi, i’m unable to change the date format in events section on the homepage. I tried to change it in settings > general, but date format remains the same.
    Could anyone help ?

  • @bcourcet check with your theme code, Maybe theme code does not have WordPress standard date render method it will appeared like this

    Sounds like cache issue.

    Try flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If you are using SiteLock, manage your caching there.

    Thank you for your answer.
    I tried to purge all the cache i could. I also tried 3 different browsers. Date remains the same…

    I actually ask the Theme designer for a clue before, and this is his answer :

    “Everything works properly.

    Also this is WordPress standard functionality. If you are facing issue then contact WordPress support team.”

    So its not cache issue, Checkout with theme files

    To rule out any theme/plugin conflict, try:
    – deactivating ALL (yes all) plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Seventeen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Alternately, If you can install plugins, install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    Hi and thank you for your reply.
    I tried to disabled the plugins one by one, but it just disables the layout which has the issue. With the default theme it’s the same, the section with the date issue is not displayed, so i cannot check how the date is displayed…
    I still tried to change some settings in the (ThemeREX) Events layout : when i change the layout style to “detailed”, the date is displayed as it’s supposed to be, then when i switch back to “full style” it is messed up.
    Any idea ?
