Unable to change colours of Title and Menu

    Greetings,

    Using a CSS editor, I am attempting to change the size and colour of the site header title and menu items. However, it appears that something keeps overriding any changes I make, even when using CSS manager.

    (For example, changing font size to 50px for site-header, does not change the original formatting, but does create extra ‘padding’ where the larger size would have been).

    Any ideas as to what is overriding my attempts to change colour and size properties? As well, fade hover will most likely be disabled, but would it be possible to change the fade colours without much complication?

    This is such a great theme! Its elegance and simplicity are amazing for our purposes (a wedding event website). Keep up the amazing work!

    On second attempts I was able to manipulate these elements just fine.

    I used Firebug (firefox extension) to find the proper class, and changed the elements in the CSS file. The title is under .site-branding class, the menu is .main-navigation, etc.

    I suspect the problem was that I was changing the px initially rather than the rem to manage font size.
