I’m unable to change the colour of the floating ‘Manage Consent’ button, or anything other colour customisation for that matter. When I change colour it just reverts back to default settings.

Can you please look into this?

  • Same issue here. Under ‘Complianz > Cookie banner > Customization > General’ when you change color values they revert back after saving. Border radius and Border width are saving correctly though.

    Hi @uacl312 @fixer1,

Just to confirm, do these sites have the latest version of Complianz installed at the moment?

As @fixer1 noted that this only seems to be the case for color values, do you happen to notice any visual issues on the Cookie Banner settings page, such as the color pickers under the Customization section, not being properly displayed?

If the above is the case, could you verify if the issue persists when using the Health Check & Troubleshoot plugin to start a testing session with only Complianz activated (Plugins > Installed Plugins > Complianz > Troubleshoot)?

Just let me know if there is any additional information about this.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi @jarnovos ,

just ran the test as you described above. Unfortunately the issue persists. As to the color pickers: the are missing. Only fields for hex color codes are available: https://snipboard.io/j9uEzl.jpg

    Hi @jarnovos,

not really sure why, but it seems to work again.

It might be that clearing all cookies from within the plugin did the trick but not sure.

    Kind regards,

As we can’t reproduce any issues with this on a clean install, it is most likely another plugin which is causing a JavaScript error. If we know which plugin this is we can contact the developer.

Please try also in a private window, and with all plugins deactivated.

If you see any errors in the console you can post them here, it might help pinpoint the plugin.

    Hi @rogierlankhorst ,

I reverted to a backup to test it, but couldn’t recreate the issue so I don’t think it’s another plugin (also because I already tested it with the Health Check & Troubleshoot plugin).

That being said, I have no idea what solved the issue, but it works now.

Sorry I cannot be of any further assistance.

    Thanks for looking into it!

Kind regards and have a great weekend,
    Menno

    Hi @uacl312,

Could you disable all plugins, and your theme, and see if this works? If so, please enable them one by one and see which one is the culprit.

I have seen this once before when a plugin added some assets to our admin page. I would suggest starting with plugins that have a color picker as well. In this case a theme or add-on to your page builder.

    Let me know! regards Aert

    Hello.
    Same problem on my site.
I’ve desabled all plugins (not Ultimate Member) and my theme, and the problem is ever here.

    Hi @fg63,

Could you try visiting the Cookie Banner settings page in an Incognito window in your browser, to prevent browser extensions from having an influence?

If the above does not help: would it be possible for you to provide the below information to us, in an e-mail to support(at)complianz.io? This will greatly help us determine the cause of the issue.

Please navigate to the Cookie Banner settings page, then:

    – right-click anywhere on the page and click “Inspect”
    – in the window that opens, click the “Console” tab
    – take a screenshot of what the “Console” section contains

If possible, please also attach a System Status report to your e-mail (can be generated under Complianz > Dashboard > Tools > System Status).

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Any updates on this? We can’t reproduce it, so need steps to reproduce the problem. If it’s not another plugin, it could be a browser exension, or something similar.

Let me know if you have any other input.
