I am attempting to change my browser tab title shown as: Ingenico Self 4000. The page was automatically titled that name but is incorrectly titled and I would like to fix it but am unable to figure out the way to do it. I’d prefer avoiding plugins or coding fixes but if they are the only options then I will definitely try it. Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I see you are using Rank Math. They have options where you can update the page title along with other important SEO metadata.

Step by step instructions can be found on their website here.

    Hi @eszukiewicz13

Page meta title is a SEO thing. So you need to do it by your installed SEO plugin. I checked your source code and I found Rank Math SEO plugin. So you need to change title from that plugin settings of individual page.

    Thank you.

Thank you @moonsloth & @smit08 for the quick responses.

I reviewed both of the responses and attempted to change the title through RankMath using their website instructions, however the “edit snippet” tab that allows the change to be made does not appear on my page, even after going to Local SEO in the Titles and Meta category. It seems like this should be a very easy fix, but perhaps I’m just missing something and can’t figure out what it is.

Okay, I see what I was missing now. I’m using Elementor so the SEO tab is shown on the page of each post instead of on the RankMath plugin page. Thank you very much for the help, glad to see what I wasn’t doing correctly.
