Unable to change/add posts or pages after update to 5.0.2

    Hello!
    I just updated to WordPress 5.0.2. After the update, I am unable to edit or to post new posts or pages. Every time I try to add/edit posts/pages, a completely blank page shows up (the screen of the browser is completely white, even though the url reflects that I am editing/adding pages.
    I have deactivated all plugins, yet the problem persists.
    The pages already on the site show up with no problem, but am unable to change.

  • If you use Gutenberg block editor, is your server fast enough?

    I have the same problem and yes my server is VPS.

    How do I disable Gutenberg?

    I just started having this problem after having to quit unexpectedly while editing a new post.

    Funny thing is I cannot add/edit a new page or post using my computers that are connected via ethernet (1 HP PC Win10, 1 iMac, 1 Linux laptop PC), but I can with my laptops that are connected wirelessly running Win10.

    I tried unplugging and connecting wirelessly with my iMac and it still had the problem.

    Edited: Seems Google Chrome works but not any other browser I have.

    Hey! I solved the problem. Turns out the problem was with my theme. It was a child-theme and some of the modifications were incompatable with Gutenberg! By switching to the parent theme, Gutenberg worked fine!
