Unable to capture funds (PayPal)

Hi,
I got an order which is “On hold” (yellow), and when I hover my mouse over it I see a text box saying Payment authorized. Change payment status to processing or complete to capture funds. Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.I click it and I see a “status” dropdown menu on the next page. No matter what I choose there, processing or complete and I update the page, it won’t save/change. When I go back to the orders page it’s still “On hold” and everything else is the same as well.
I don’t seem to have a separate Paypal plugin installed, I only see “PayPal Standard – PayPal” on Woocommerce > Settings > Payments page. I had set it up months ago, all the API credentials and everything seem to be in order.
I see the funds on my PayPal account (pending funds), but I cannot capture the funds.
