Unable to bulk delete 66k spam comments

    I have found that I have >66,000 spam comments accumulated that Akismet has not deleted and the bulk delete option is not working.
    I am unable to find them in the plugin folder using File Manager.

    Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Comments are stored in the database, so they wouldn’t appear in the plugin folder. If Akismet is not clearing them out regularly, there is likely a problem with your WordPress installations event scheduler.

    Since it’s been a while since you made this post (apologies for not responding sooner), are you still having this problem?
