• The auto post to LinkedIn suddenly stopped working last week. I thought it was a token issue, but after reauthorizing the logs now say “Accessing the resource is forbidden. Please check your permissions for this resource.”

  • Please check the app configured for LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/developers/apps/. Ensure that the app is approved for the products Sign In with LinkedIn, Share on LinkedIn, and Advertising API (if you are using pages too). If Sign In With LinkedIn is not available among the app products, please use Sign In With LinkedIn Using OpenID Connect instead. Set the LinkedIn Sign-In Method as ‘SIWL Using OpenID Connect’ under the settings in Social Media Auto Publish. Also, cross-check other settings like the redirect URL.

Please let us know if the issue persists.

@anjali94 Thanks for your response, yes that is all setup. I was able to post on 12/28 and it auto-posted to LinkedIn, but on 12/29 it didn’t work, I tried to reauthorize the token and try again, and then received an error “Accessing the resource is forbidden. Please check your permissions for this resource.”

This appears to be a scope-related error. Ensure that you have granted the necessary permissions during the authorization flow, and confirm that your app has been approved to access company page details. Additionally, make sure that the product scope is not missing, as mentioned in my previous response.

Please check the related settings, as illustrated at https://help.xyzscripts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/2-ln-free-settings.png .
Also could you kindly provide a screenshot of the product page on your app’s developer page? You can refer to the example shown in https://help.xyzscripts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/4-List-Products-after-approval.png .
