    Hi!
When trying to authorize access to Dropbox via WordPress, the UpdraftPlus page provides page has a “Complete Setup” button that is supposed to redirect back to UpdraftPlus in WordPress, but it doesn’t. UpdraftPlus also provides a link, but that link also doesn’t update.

    Please advise?!
    Thanks.

    it doesn’t.

What happens when you try? Can you describe the symptoms?

    1. WordPress prompts:
UpdraftPlus notice: Ensure you are logged into the correct account before continuing. Follow this link to authorize access to your Dropbox account (you will not be able to backup to Dropbox without it).

    2. I enter the Dropbox usr/pwd. This takes me to an UpdraftPlus hosted page that says the following (but the “Complete Setup” button just reloads the page I’m already on — it doesn’t return to the WordPress dashboard):

To complete setup for Dropbox press the button below.

This will take you back to your UpdraftPlus settings on the site https://thenext-us.com.

You will then be able to send backups to Dropbox.

The button will take you to:
    https://thenext-us.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=updraftplus&action=updraftmethod-dropbox-auth

Please read this privacy policy concerning use of our Dropbox authorisation app (none of your backup data is sent to us).

    Hi,

It appears that there may be a slight URL mismatch that is causing the issue.

I can see that your site uses ‘https’. However, the URL that is being sent to Drobox is plain ‘http’. Depending on how https is enforced, this may be causing a loop.

Please could you check your site URL and Home URL options in WP Admin>Settings>General, and ensure that the URLs in those options start ‘https’ (unless there is a specific reason you know of not to)?

Then, please try authenticating with Dropbox again
