    I tried all option, full access, access only to a folder, API KEY, not able to add DropBox

    Always error:

    Dropbox:{“error”: “invalid_client: Invalid client_id or client_secret”}

    Resolved, very complicated. Need copy in notepad the code because from the web is not well copied.

    This is very helpful to others who have the same problem… NOT. What is even the purpose of a thread like this? A question then a post that says “resolved” with no hint of HOW.

    Please make sure to configure Dropbox API keys by following the steps in this user guide section. I am also posting it here quoted below:

    Visit Dropbox Apps page and log in to create API keys and add them to corresponding settings of this page. If you don’t have any apps, press Create Apps button from Dropbox App Console.

    Select Dropbox API option, then choose the access type, Sandbox App or Full Dropbox App. Name your app, then hit Create App button. You will be redirected to a dashboard page, where the App key and App secret will be provided.

    Note, that Full Dropbox App and Sandbox App have different API keys. Make sure to add yours to the correct options of Backup WD plugin.

    Afterwards, edit your backup job and configure the settings of Dropbox tab following the steps described in this section.

    Resolved with use of other plugin. I AM unable to use this plugin for two reasons:
    1. unable to autheticate with DropBox
    2. Database decryption is not possibile on the PC or different domain but only by uploading the file on the plugin so… you have issue also if you have big database.

    Changed plugin so solved.
