I’m trying to add questions to a new lesson but when I go to the Add Question page it’s blank apart from the sidebar with the category. I’ve seen the other posts about the change to the blocks and then back again in 3.9.1 and can confirm I have 3.9.1 installed. Is there a setting to make sure that I can add questions if I’m using the classic editor?

Using 3.9.1, I just tried to go to Questions->Add New with the Classic Editor, and I’m not able to duplicate this:

I can also add them from the lesson page itself:

Please note, however, this page: https://senseilms.com/lesson/quizzes/

under “Quiz Management – Legacy*” for more information.

@emsitaud Thanks. According to the plugin list it’s up to date so I’m not sure what’s happening. I need to resolve it by Friday though so I’m going to uninstall and reinstall the plugin and hope that fixes it without losing any data.

@dpmcalister A php problem ? Do you have the Version 3.9.1 ? Also, I’ve seen that I can not longer use the Classic Editor in some functionnalities. Only use of Gutemberg blocks allows me to modify a question types- for example.

Yes, 3.9.1 is installed as per my original post. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin and that’s resolved the issue. Hopefully the decision to force the use of the block editor is completely revoked. Not all of us use it and some, myself included, use themes that have their own editor that is a million times better than the block editor.
