• I’ve migrated a multisite installation with 40 sites.

All but one seems to be working. There is nothing different about the .htaccess entry or the domain mapping for this particular site.

I was prompted to repair the database, and received a slew of “Failed to repair the wp_16_xxx table. Error: Can’t find file: ” error messages.

But I can see the tables in phpMyAdmin and the corresponding files in /var/lib/mysql/multisitedb

I thought, well, I’ll just delete this site and create a new one.

While it did create an entry in the wp_blogs table, there are no new tables for the blog (wp_50_). I even received an email notifying me that my site has been set up.

Again, I was prompted to repair the database. This time I got a slew of “Failed to repair the wp_50_xxx table. Error: Can’t find file: ” error messages. In this case, there are no tables nor files in /var/lib/mysql/multisitedb.

It feels like a permissions issue, but where?

    Define ‘migrated’?

I would guess that the DB user account doesn’t have full permissions to the database, so it can’t create the tables.
