Unable to Add Name + Unable to see on Desktop Chrome or Safari

  • Hi, I’m having trouble adding names to the Name Directory plugin. Only entries show up. I added an entry and then wanted to make a change, but when I click edit up comes the listing before the chosen name. Now it isn’t visible on my iMac desktop (Safari and Chrome), but I can see them on my iPad and iPhone Safari browser.

    I have had this report earlier but was not able to reproduce it.

    I Dont see it on your site

    Can you please carefully describe every click you do and what you expect (and what is broken)?

    Sure,

    Add Name

    Go to settings > Name Directory (shows 5 names published)
    Click manage names (shows only 4 names)
    Add new name and save, it does not show up on the list (still only shows 4 names)
    On the web page it shows up without a line between names

    Make Change to a name

    Manage names page
    Click on edit button
    Does not show the name I clicked on, shows another name.

    Hi Liz,

    I meant last monday. I was able to set it all up but could not reproduce the bug. I was under the impression I posted my question to you but appearantly I did not, for which I am sorry.

    I would like to ask you if you could provide me with a database export of your wp_name_directory and wp_name_directory_names tables, so I can import that one to see if the problem will occur on my testsite. If that is the case, maybe I can check if it’s a big with certain characters in the database which prevents my scrips from working OK.

    no problem. If you are familiair with phpMyAdmin and you can login to that, you can follow this page from step 3: https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/website/phpmyadmin/phpmyadmin-export-table

    If you are not, please let me know. I can create a script for you that you can upload by FTP ??
