Unable to Add Media

    Hello, I am new to WordPress and I have encountered my first major problem. After reading through some of the posts about this theme I just realized that I was supposed to be making new “Posts” instead of “Pages”. So far my site consists of “Pages”. The problem I am having is that I cannot “Add Media”. My site is an online catalog for people to see so I need to be able to add pictures. When I go to edit a page, or even make a new page, and I click on the “Add Media” button, it is as if nothing happened. I am not taken to the window where I can add pictures from the Media Library or from my computer. The one thing I noticed is that at the very end of the url a “#” is added on. I don’t really know what that means, but does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix this problem? I have also tried to add new media by creating a new “Post” and I get the same results.

    Can you provide a link to your site please so we can see what’s going on?
    Can you also try to deactivate all of your plugins and see if you can add pictures?

    Thank you for your prompt reply. I have deactivated all of my plugins and I was able to add more pictures. I’m a little confused as to why this started happening now. I had the same plugins as when I first started the website and I have not had this problem before. I guess for my plugin problem I will try to activate each of them one by one and see which one is causing the problem. Anyway, your help is appreciated. Thank you.

    HI don.justinapparel,

    Yes, it’s hard to say, but there are a lot of old plugins out there.
    Activating plugins one by one and testing them is the way to do it.

    Hopefully once you discover which one, you can either not use it or find a better one.
