    Hi there,
I have just installed the plugin and found a couple of problems.
    1) When trying to add a new event, it only overwrites the event that already exists. I have deleted all events, and tried to start again, but it only seems to allow the one event. When adding a new event, it updates the event that already exists.
    2) When accessing the settings, I get directed to the URL wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-common which then prompts me to accept the additional diagnostics. I enable or skip (doesn’t matter which) then try and click the settings option and I go back to the accept option. If I add &tab=common to the URL I can get to the settings.

I am running WordPress 5.8.1, I have tried going to the permalink settings and clicking Save to flush them. I have tried using the block editor and the standard editor. I did reset the theme back to one of the default Twenty themes but this made no difference. I have tried to add an event whilst using the Troubleshooting mode so that all other plugins are disabled.

Is there anything I am missing? Thanks

    Thank you for reaching out!

Obviously, something is not working as expected. Without knowing more about your specific installation, I would suspect one of the three following things:

    1. A PHP 8-related bug. We are currently working on full PHP 8 support, but for now, PHP 7.4 is recommended
    2. Some type of conflict with your theme or another plugin. You might want to try our testing for conflicts procedure
    3. Are you using the Classic Editor plugin or the Divi theme? If so, can you temporarily uncheck the Block editor option under Events > Settings > Display. We will be issuing a few bug fixes for this issue fairly shortly

Let us know if that helps
    Geoff

I’m not entirely sure what but I tried again today from a different browser/machine and it was working as expected. So suspect it was to do with the client I was using
