    Hi,

We are having an issue where we are not able to create new events on our site, when we are on the add new event page, under event details the date box does not show a calendar for us to select a date from anymore.

Also, under settings of the events plugin, I am unable to see the form and it just says “Please, Sign In to Timely Network.”

Where it says “If the form below is not working please follow this link.”, if i click the link it just reloads the page.

I have disabled all plugins except for the All in one event calendar plugin and the issue is the same. I changed wordpress themes also to rule out a theme setting and the result is the same.

I then installed the latest wordpress release and the issue still remains.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Sean

    Hi @leateds,

When perform the 2 troubleshooting steps, be sure to clear any cache in your WP dashboard.

This issue, especially after performing the steps you have completed, is most likely due to a server configuration. Can you tell me where you are hosted and what version of PHP your host is running?

I am having the same problem. I have also disabled all plugins in testing the issue and reinstalled latest wordpress. I am running php7.

    Hi @denmat,

If you cleared your cache and tested for a conflict and still have the same problem, I suggest a manual reinstall. These instructions will preserve your current events:

    – Perform a complete back up of your database before proceeding further
    – Delete the file uninstall.php from the plugin directory that is currently on the server (found under /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar). Deleting this file ensures that when you uninstall the current version of the plugin, your event data and calendar settings will be preserved when you delete the plugin (don’t skip this step – it’s important!)
    – Deactivate the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Delete the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Database -> wp_options, click option_name to sort and delete everything with ai1ec_, this will delete plugin settings but events will remain in the database.
    – Now install the latest version.

This may not solve your problem, but it’s worth trying.

If not, then most definitely your problem is incorrect PHP configuration, or, missing PHP extensions (I can’t tell you which ones you need, enable all of them that are possible — your host can do this).
