    I’ve just added Memphis to a client’s site and it’s not working. When one adds a document, it simply throws you back to the dashboard and the file isn’t uploaded.

    However, I suspect that they may have tried a very old version in the past and some of that is lingering. At first it wouldn’t install because there was already a memphis-documents-library in plugins. I renamed this as .bak which allows Memphis to at least install.

    I’ve tried uninstalling and checking the Memphis folders in uploads and plugins are not there but no joy.

    Does Memphis put something in the database? Extending the schema? Is it worth deleting those by PhpAdmin (this is all backed up BTW)? Or are there some instructions on completely removing Memphis?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I don’t use mDocs myself so I don’t know for sure if this is normal or not. After I open up a folder and add a new doc to that folder the screen brings me back to display the root ‘All Documents’. I believe before it used to stay in the sub-folder and display that list showing the new file that was just added.

    is this in the dashboard or frontend?

    if its the dashboard you will need to change the code to below:

    $the_permalink = ‘admin.php?page=memphis-documents.php&mdocs-cat=‘;

    Not sure what you mean. I’m in WP clicking on the Memphis Docs link on the LH menu.

    OK, this is weird. I logged out of WP and closed everything up (thought I was done for the day). Now I logged back in and I have no files showing in the Documents Library. The web page however is still showing the documents normally.

    The saga continues.
