Unable to add custom sidebar to author archive

    I am unable to add a custom sidebar as the Primary Sidebar (or seemingly any sidebar) to any Author Archive. When I attempt to do so and search for an author to add, it says “No Results Found” beforfe even searching and while searching. As if there are no authors.
