Unable to activate some plugins

    I installed Health Check & Troubleshooting and after a very long session with my webhost support, have only managed to get some plugins stay activated. The rest will not activate and present an “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.” error. Trying again achieves nothing different.

    WordPress 5.5.3
    PHP 7.4.11

    The following plugins refuse to activate. Earlier, all of them did not activate. Flushed everything, including at the host end. Tried a different browser. Some activated.

    Contact Form 7
    Far Future Expiration Plugin
    Health Check & Troubleshooting
    Imagify
    jQuery Updater
    PWA for WP
    Simple Basic Contact Form
    Site Kit by Google
