Unable to activate rating widget on WordPress

  • Hi

    I have downloaded latest version of rating widget installed but on clicking of activate button I am unable to see rating widget at the left side of the WordPress.
    For community I have installed buddypress.

    How can I get the rating widget displayed and use it

    I am doing all these in my local machine to check the feasibility

    Please help on this

    rating-widget.2.8.7.1
    wordpress-4.8
    buddypress.2.8.2

    once i install the plugin and activate it i am not getting the installed one on the left side bar of wordpress. I am new to word press please help me to resolve it
