When trying to activate the plugin I’m getting the error “Default value for parameters with a class type hint can only be NULL in [private directory]/wp-content/plugins/rabbit-loader/inc/core/core.php on line 530

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

Dear @stephenrs please share the PHP version, WordPress version and RabbitLoader plugin version you are using?

    PHP 5.6.36

    WordPress v4.9.23

    RabbitLoader 2.18.1

I know these are old versions, so the easy answer would be to upgrade everything, but unfortunately, that’s not currently a feasible option. So, I’m hoping some other adjustment might be possible.

    Thanks!

Dear @stephenrs We understand upgrading may not be as easy as it sounds. We have made some changes to be compatible with PHP 5.6

Please try this version of our plugin and let us know if face any issues.

Thanks so much for the fast turnaround!

Unfortunately, there is a minor typo/syntax error in one of the files, so the following error message is triggered:

“PHP message: PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’, expecting ‘;’ or ‘{‘ in [private directory]/wp-content/plugins/rabbit-loader/inc/util_wp.php on line 89”

I took a quick look at the file and removed the text “:bool” from line 89 and the plugin installed normally, and it’s now “warming up”. So, I think I’m in good shape for now, but I’ll reinstall if you guys fix the problem on your end.

    Thanks again.

Quick update: Actually, I spoke too soon. With the plugin activated my site became inaccessible. I assume this isn’t normal(?)

Dear @stephenrs obvious this isn’t normal. Can you share some logs for our team to analyse if this was because of RabbitLoader or related compatibility issue? You can email on our support address.
