Hello, I am unable to activate your plugin.
    Here is the error message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/cataci/cataci.com/public_html/en/wp-content/plugins/ip2location-redirection/ip2location-redirection.php on line 21

Please let me know how I can solve this. Thank you.

What version of PHP are you using? Try to update your PHP version and try again.

Hi! Thanks for your help. I updated our PHP and now I was able to activate the plug in. But then another problem. Unfortunately, it is not working. I would like to direct all non-Japanese IP addresses to a certain sub-directory. But nothing happens after setting it up…

I put “Japan” under “Location”. Then I put a check mark on “Redirect all countries except country listed above”. Then I put the original domain address under “From”, and the sub-directory address under “Destination”. Then I clicked on “Save Changes”

Is there anything I am missing?

    Thanks in advance!

@ip2location I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
