Unable to access WP Dashboard

  • I was updating WP to 3.0. I rec’d the following fatal error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function set?current?screen()in/var/www/healthcaresavvy.com/htdocs/wp-admin/admin.php on line 129.

    Since this fatal error message I’m unable to access the dashboard so I can not disable the maintenance function which was recommended to someone else with the same fatal error message.

    I’m new to Word Press and I entered my concern under the miscellaneous forum instead of this forum which I guess was the wrong place because my post is now gone ……. so I’m re-posting here hoping I get some help. Thank you

  • I got the same message on a new install, let me know if you find a fix…

    found my solution:
    log in trough your FTP client example: Filezilla

    and you want to download or copy the plugin folder to your desktop, and delete the plugin folder on your site.

    refresh your log in page and you should be good, then add each plugin 1 by 1 till you find the one that has the problem with 3.0
