• Updated the plugin to 3.1.1 a short while ago. Now unable to access the plugin settings etc. On clicking CloudFlare in the WordPress Settings menu I get a screen with the CloudFlare logo, three buttons (Home, Setting, Analytics) none of which work, a continually rotating disk and under that ‘Version 3.1.1’.

Any suggestions as to how to rectify this will be very welcome.

  • Hi @grm,

Are you using the plugin in localhost? If so you’d need to use the plugin with the correct zone which is added to your Cloudflare account.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry but this means nothing to me (localhost?, zone?). I installed the plugin when I signed up with CloudFlare just over four years ago and after the initial setting up I haven’t needed to access the plugin but have just updated it when a new version has been released. The plugin was installed via WordPress in the normal manner.

I need more information to understand the problem you’re having. Could you provide me with

    – Your browser console logs. Please take a screenshot of it and post it.
    – Post a screenshot including your browser URL and the Cloudflare plugin.
    – Your PHP errors logs.

Please provide these information after you’ve continually rotating disk.

    Thanks.

I have a browser console screenshot but cannot find a way to include it here. The last two lines of the log were:
    %c action @ 13:39:31.262 ZONES_FETCH_SUCCESS
SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘endsWith’

The URL at the time was:
    https://www.fifteensquared.net/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=cloudflare#/home?_k=7gicda

There are no relevant entries in any of the error logs to which I have access. The last entry in the wp-admin error log, which usually shows php errors, was in April.

    What browser are you using?
What is the version of the browser?

Could you try upgrading your browser to the latest version?

    Thanks

    Browser – IE11.447.14393.0

It should be the latest version as it is included in the Win10 automatic updates.

@grm could you try it on Firefox, Chrome or any other browser and notify me if it works?

    Thanks

    Hi thellimist
Thanks for your time in trying to resolve this issue. I have now fired up my old (standby) laptop which is my only pc with multiple browsers. I can access the plugin settings with both Chrome and Edge so it looks like another IE11 non-compatibility problem (my third in as many months, though one was rectified by ether a Microsoft update to IE11 or a revision to cPanel).
