    Hi,

Our page went from running smoothly, to now when the page is completely re-arranged, with photos being out of scale, all the links are just listed on the left side, and we′re unable to log in to the backend.

The problems started just after we downloaded a “coming soon” plugin, which we tried to deactivate from one.com, without any luck.

Does anyone have an idea of what we can do to get things back to normal?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello, drythighs, & welcome. You can use an ftp client like Filezilla to do this, or you can use your hosting provider’s file manager, usually accessed via its control panel.

You can deactivate a plugin in this way by simply renaming the folder, ie, by putting a 1 or a .old at the end of the folder name. You can deactivate all plugins, if necessary, by doing likewise to the plugins folder.

If you need further help, please let us know. Please also let us know if/when your problem is resolved, so the volunteers here understand you’ve been helped & can go on to assist others. Thank you.

    Hi!

From a quick glance it looks like the stylesheet is missing or is not being loaded. Do you know how to access the folders in your site? In particular the plugins folder. You can rename that folder and WordPress will deactivate all plugins.

    Hi,

Thanks a lot to both of you.
I restored the site to a previous date, but used your advise of renaming the plugin folders to find the bad guy.

Everything is now back to normal!

    Best regards
    Magne
