    Hi,

    As of this evening I am using MultiSite on 3.3.2.

    I updated earlier, deactivating all plugins first beforehand.

    Now once myself (as Editor) and another user (editor too) login we can only see ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page’.

    I can still login to my network and go to different dashboards as the superadmin tho.

    Anywhere I should start? Is it likely to be a plugin problem? Prior to updating I havent logged in for a few days.

    Editors != super admins.

    login we can only see ‘You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page’.

    Where? What pages are givign you that error?

    Editors != super admins.

    For the whole network??

    Only my original super admin could see any screen once logged in, other users couldn’t see the dashboard or anything else. As soon as they log in, it gives the error first.

    I will be getting your book this week to try and read it properly btw!!

    Actually, after creating some test users, it appears to just be one site that is having problems letting anyone other than an Administrator in, not the primary site of the network.

    I dont have time atm but will disable and re-enable all plugins later to see if that helps.

    Editor is a PER SITE role.

    Super Admin (aka Network Admin) is a NETWORK WIDE role.

    So. Your SUPER ADMIN can always do everything. Your PER SITE EDITOR cannot.

    Savvy?

    Oui, je comprends cela.

    But my site editors cannot get in to their own site, that is the problem. Only the primary domain is letting anyone less than Network Admin login.

    Did you make them editors of those sites?

    Yeah, they are specifically editors of the site I am trying to access. I also tried with Authors and Contributors but no joy either. Just going to try disabling plugins etc with an Admin now and see what happens.

    Disabling all plugins did the trick, and then re-enabling them one at a time seems to point at ShareThis plugin causing a problem?

    It was certainly stopping the site from loading normally (not logged in), and disabling all plugins as the Network Admin meant I could log back in with lower permission accounts afterwards.

    Thanks.
