I am receiving a critical error on any /wp-admin/ page. I am able to login directly through /wp-login.php, but even after logging in I am unable to access the backend of the site. This is the error that I am receiving:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /nas/content/live/greaterclarkco/wp-includes/capabilities.php:660

We had conflict with other plugins after the 5.6.1 update yesterday and solved the issue by manually disabling plugins via ftp

I can see you use the latest version of the MEC: https://i.postimg.cc/rmfYfk9f/image.png and MEC is activated on your site: https://i.postimg.cc/kgNsjCJW/image.png
Your issue about the login to your WordPress related to CDN: https://i.postimg.cc/npb7F60Y/image.png

    Hi,

I had the exact same problem today. /Wp-admin took forever to load. I had to manually disable all my MEC plugins. I believe the plugin tried to fetch news or license info from webnus.net and webnus.net was also down.?

    Hi @griebel,

    I don’t think so,
Could you please explain your issue, include screenshots, URLs, and any other document so we can understand and check it better. if it happened again let us know, we will check it again. only on this topic, is facing this issue and we didn’t receive any other reports.

    Best Regards

    Hi @webnus

As you can see in the error log below, MEC plugins tried to load license information, but because webnus.net was down, I could’nt access backend in WordPress (resulting in Request Timeout – 500 internal server error), until I manually disabled all MEC plugins. When your website was back online, I could reactivate the plugins and again access my admin panel in WordPress.

@webus, thanks for the reply, we uninstalled your plugin, removed all data ( not a great solution if people have a lot of info in the db) and reinstalled and it seems to be working again, have to test plugin further as there appears to be some other issues such as google giving warnings about missing event schema, availability, valid from, online event, organiser weve fixed that on our end by adding the missing info to the schema.php file so this isnt a major issue) but this can be marked closed.

edit: i had no issue with cdn or login, others are blocked from accessing those areas of our site with our our permission, the issue was the modern event calendar conflicted with a plugin, we had no problem fixing the error but is a shame as it looked promising to start with before the update.

    Hi @studiosoundsradio,

I’m glad your issue about access to WordPress backend has been fixed.

About “conflicted with a plugin” could you please let us which plugin has a conflict? so we can check it.

Please Note: This topic is not related to Schema, please open a new topic and give us more information about your issue, we’ll check and get back to you.

    Best Regards
