    Hi guys,

I’m often running my posts and pages through an SEO analyzer, and it always comes up with this:

The X-powered header is sent within the response header. (unnecessary)

Meanwhile, in the .htaccess file, there are loads of these ‘X-powered headers’ running.

Which one is the unnecessary one?

Hi ?@deeveearr, thanks for opening Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP.

I am here to help you as best as I can, I have read your issue you are experiencing when performing seo checks on your websites.

I confirm that I have already put in deadline for the next update of the plugin to version 4.8.94, in the new version the X-powered header will no longer be present because it is no longer essential.

Thank you for your feedback and if you need further support or have any questions please write to me.

    Hi @unicorn03

    I’m still being told that

The X-powered header is sent within the response header. (unnecessary)

Personally, I think that the SEO checker might be at fault.

Hi @deeveearr, I’ll stop you that from version 4.8.94 of Headers Security Advanced & HSTS WP.

    The deprecated header of x-powered
