UM user verification not working

    Hi,

    when a user registers on my site then I want myself to manually unlock it first.
    I have created a role that has the registration status “Admin verification required” in the registration options.
    In the Ultimate Member dashboard after a registration I get the indication at “Expected verification“. The user has a status of “Awaiting verification, Verified”.
    If the user wants to sign up like this the message “Your account has not been approved yet.” comes up.
    I now set the UM action “Approve membership” in the dashboard. The confirmation email goes out to the user. However, the user still can’t sign up.
    I now get the error message:
    “Account verification pending: your account is currently not active. An administrator must activate your account before you can log in.”
    However, I can’t do anything in the dashboard, the user is verified and enabled there.
    What am I doing wrong?

    I purchased the Verified Users extension, but currently have it disabled. It didn’t work with the extension either.
    From the settings options, it looked in retrospect as if it would work without the extension.
    Or is it not possible at all without it?

    UM is version 2.2.2
    UM – Verified Users was version 2.1.1
