    Hello,

I am currently trying to fix a bug on my website where logged in users’ profile cover image is displaying on every profile in the user directory page. Also, the “User Meta Shortcode” plugin is being overwritten for the logged in user, displaying the user meta data for the directory profile being viewed instead of their own data.

I am using the “Popup Maker” plugin to create menu ‘windows’ people can use to navigate the site. When using Popup Maker to display a popup featuring a user control panel which includes their avatar, first name, last name, and other user meta data, and it seems to be the cause of this bug. When Popup Maker is disabled, everything works as intended.

I was wondering if this is something that Ultimate Members’ developers can fix, or if this should be directed toward the Popup Maker developer team instead?

I will continue to try to isolate the problem further while I await your response, posting updates as I learn more. Thank you!

UPDADE 1: I traced the issue to the inclusion of UM’s Reset Password form in a Popup Maker window. Removing this form from the popup resolved the cover image and profile data issues.

However, the issue of a logged-in user’s meta data being overwritten within the popup by the data of the profile they are currently viewing persists. I’ll keep trying to resolve this issue and post further updates.

UPDATE 2: Fixed the user meta data issues by using custom shortcode in my theme’s functions.php file, instead of UM’s “User Meta Shortcode” plugin extension. Everything appears to be working as intended now! This issue is resolved. Hopefully my solutions will help others with similar problems in the future.
