    Hi,

How can we restrict access to specific pages? Since the release of UM 2.0, it seems to me that you must give access to 100% of your pages to everyone or to restrict access for everyone.
When editing a post, there is the possibility to set access restriction. However I no longer see this possibility for pages with UM 2.0 +. There is no longer any granularity for page restriction.

As a result, if you activate access restriction for pages, logged out users won’t see any menu item related to a page.

When editing a page, there is no UM module to activate (at the top of the page). Whereas for posts, you can select “UM Content Restriction”.

    Thanks in advance.

PS : I am using WordPress core 4.9.5 and UM 2.0.12

    Can confirm this!

There is no longer any granularity for page restriction.

For me, they are still here in 2.0.13 but do not work properly!

In my opinion the whole access/restriction management is broken.

    Thank you for your reply.

I found a workaround. I set in the preferences that the website is private. Then you can add exceptions for pages that you want to make publicly available.

That’s a real decrease in term of functionality. Every time you want to make a page public, you have to go to the settings and add the URL as an exception. If you change the taxonomy or the page slug, then, it will broke the setting…

On top of that many users of the plugins may not be aware of this issue. Their private pages can be indexed otherwise their public pages can be private…

    Hi @salamandre and @martnytrm,

Please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> Access tab and Restricted content and make sure you’ve checked Pages in “Restricted Access to Posts”.
The access restriction section won’t be visible if this checkbox is unchecked.

    Regards.
