UM 2.0.4 – Menus disappear

I have upgraded my localhost version of my website to UM v2.0.4 and I have noticed that everything appears fine until I log in (admin or member). When I’m logged in all my menu options disappear! All the restrictions still seem to work but I can’t navigate using the context sensitive menus as all the options have gone.
If I create a new menu, that seems to appear OK and I have tried using a different theme but that didn’t resolve the issue either. I’m using the latest version of WP too.

UM 2.0 uses a different role scheme. They tried to revert back to the default WP roles. My guess is it has something to do with that. I’m seeing the same issue on my site.

Could you please look at my github issue (https://github.com/ultimatemember/ultimatemember/issues/400) and tell me, if it is similar to your issue or if you even can reproduce it/have similar settings done/ etc.
Something with roles and permissions is definitely broken and not only when upgrading, but with a fresh install, too.
