Ultimate shortcodes wiped my databases clean on update

Recently I installed Ultimate Shortcodes
Shortly after, while I was upgrading several plugins, my WP databases were wiped clean. Users, pages, posts, all gone.
I restored from backup and this week, slowly went through the plugins to be updated. I had eight to be updated
I got down to Ultimate Shortcode without error, then updated your product, and it wiped the database
Not only does it wipe the database, but the update takes control of WP to create endless redirections to itself, so the page times out. I had to delete the plugin directory itself to regain control
I think you have a serious problem. I would definitely not recommend that ANYONE update this plugin
