    Hi,I need a extension of UM to allow users to upload videos directly to the site. No You Tube.
    There is a solution?

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible in the current version of the plugin because this option would require a lot of server resources. We will see if we can add this feature in the future updates.

    I hope you will be able to integrate this functionality. It would be useful and would make UM really complete. Thank You!

    Actually it wouldn’t really allow any server resources when media is offloaded to an S3 bucket, cdn, ect… like many sites are actually doing now.

    The fear of using server resources should not be applied the same here as it was 10 years ago…

    In fact, most hosting companies have already taken this into considerations by limiting max file size uploads ect. This combined with S3 bucket, cdns ect pretty much destroy the claim of using to many resources….

    How is this resolved?

    I very nearly bought the plugin, same I have everything going to S3 as well, I will buy the full package if you can make it so users can upload video ??
