Ultimate Member: User can’t update profile

Hi @alehandro96,

Do you see any error in your browser console? You can right click the button in google chrome, click on Inspect and then view the error in console tab.

This issue may also be because of a plugin/theme conflict. Can you do a conflict test and see if the issue goes away? This doc explains how to do a conflict test if you are not sure: How to do a plugin/theme conflict test?

@mansurahamed Thanks for answering. The browser does not generate any problem for me. I also tried disabling the Astra theme (leaving the default theme) and all plugins and the problem remains.

Are you using any cache plugin? or check if your hosing using any server-side caching and mod security. Try excluding um profile/user page from those if they have any. First go to Ultimate member->Settings->Page Setup, inside your dashboard and check if you have the correct profile/user page setup there.

@mansurahamed Yes, I am using LiteSpeed Caché. According to the configuration of this plugin, no profiles are being cached and the Profile / Profile page configuration of Ultimate Member is well configured. Could I try another way? This problem is already driving me crazy XD

I have a similar problem. I’m not able to update my profile in Ultimate Member. I’ve tried everything possible. I’ve checked my settings on the registration form and on the profile form. When I update information in my profile it does not appear in the profile as updated. what am I not doing?

@muhsinh Maybe it is a general problem or we have the same configuration error. A few days ago I saw another post on this forum that had a similar problem.

Profile update is working fine in my test. I suggest to install UM in a fresh wordpress install, check Ultimate Member->Settings->general->Page Setup inside your dashboard and see if you assigned all correct pages there. Don’t use same page twice there. Then go to Ultimate Member->Forms->Your Profile Form->Edit, and add field in your profile. Should work fine.

@mansurahamed You’re right. I was misconfiguring the pages from the settings. In other forum posts I had seen that the account, profile, and member pages had to be configured with the same page. Thank you very much for your attention and patience.
