• Hello, my Ultimate Member user search generates wrong URLs in the address bar which are not working if I try to link to them.

For example. My Ultimate Member User Directory resides at https://www.my-example-page.de/?page_id=145

When I now search for a user with blue eye color, the search works, but the URL in the address bar is wrong.
    It generates https://www.my-example-page.de/?filter_eye_color_904a4=blue

    BUT it should generate:
    https://www.www.my-example-page.de/?page_id=145&filter_eye_color_904a4=blue

This has some unpleasant side effects like when a user presses the back button, he lands on the homepage instead of the search page.

And it is not possible to save or share search URLs because they all just link to the start page.

Maybe you didn’t test it with URLs which are using post IDs?

@michaelpersch I have archived your new duplicate topic. Please do not repeat that again.

The developer and plugin support are volunteers and if they reply then that’s good. If they do not then that’s also acceptable.

Okay, then, just an innocent question from my side. Maybe I didn’t understand something right.

I tried to push the first topic to let the developers know about the problem, what is working in most internet forums. But when I took a look, it did not seem to work at all. I still couldn’t find my topic on the first page. I mean, I waited a month, shouldn’t a question get the chance to get asked a second time?

Maybe all developers have been sick or something when I posted it the first time.
Or do they get a mail if I answer to my own one? I really don’t know.

I am always happy to share my solutions here and if no one writes an answer, I am going to solve it with a “dirty Javascript”. And I will happily share that with everyone here. ??

I just thought, the developers would maybe be able to solve this better than I could.

It is only in my interest to make Ultimate Member better. I am hosting a website with it with 800+ members, and I am using some paid plugins.

    Sorry for the duplicate!
