ultimate member profile photo not uploading (processing…Forever)

Hello I have a membership site in which users register then they can log in and edit their profile. I user ultimate member for registration, login, and profile. I have noticed that users can not UPLOAD THEIR profile pictures. When you “Upload photo” and click “Apply” there’s a button/tab right below the photo that just writes “processing….” and will stay that way for a whole day, maybe a week or month. In short, the profile photo doesn’t upload.
I have tried deactivating all plugins and activating one at a time but the issue persists. I have checked my wordpress memory and it’s ok. What is causing this issue and how can i fix it ASAP.

Which UM version have you installed?
Try to switch Theme to a default WP Theme like “Twenty Twenty-One”
I have installed UM “version 2.9.1”. It is not relate to the Theme (currently using OceanWP and it’s always been fantastic). I have tried a temporary switch to Twenty Twenty Five theme but the problem remains. I am convinced it’s a bug.
I have just installed the “WP Rollback plugin” and rolled back to a random UM version 2.8.5 and guess what, the “UM profile photo” is now uploading effortlessly. So it’s abundantly clear the issue is bug related.
In the meantime, I’ll disable “automatic update” for the UM plugin and will check back every once in a while with version 2.91 or later if they support UM Profile Photo Upload. I would appreciate if you notified me if the bug has been fixed in version 2.91 or later.
