Ultimate Member – Malfunctioning “Update” with Forms

  • Hi there –

    I spent an enormous amount of time adjusting fields in my form for my contact section.

    It’s been perfect for weeks.

    Today, I was working on a different section of the form and I noticed that the contact section is scrambled.

    In this example, I’m pointing out that the parent’s info is mixed in with the high school info.

    I move the parent’s email up to where it’s supposed to be. I think scroll up to click update (off camera). When I come back down to check it – the parent’s email jumped back to where it was previously.

    When I fix it and click update – it doesn’t not update. It resorts to the mixed-up version of the section.

    I’ve logged out and back in. I’ve logged in using an incognito browser. I restarted my machine. Nothing seems to fix this one section. So far the other sections are fine but I’m definitely concerned that if this happened to one section, that it could happen to others.

    Additionally, the fields that are visible in the form template which should be visible to the profile user, are not. Many of them are not carrying over to the user’s profile.

    Is there a cap on how many fields you can have? If so, I need a workaround. I need unlimited fields.

    Please advise what I’m missing.

    Additionally, I created a new section to see about rebuilding it. I saw it live, started to rebuild the section. Updated – now it’s all missing again.

    I see the fields and the new section on the form but it’s disappeared from the live version

    Deactivate: LiteSpeed Cache: 5.0.1

    Increase PHP Max Input Vars: 1000 to 3000

    Increase Memory Limit: 40MB to 256M
